5 inch color squares: 120
5 inch white squares: 120 or 2 1/4 yards
5 inch black squares: 30 or 2/3 yard
Black for Borders: 1 1/2 yards
Contrast for Bias Trim: 1/4 yard
Backing fabric: 5 1/2 yards
Options: Bias maker for contrasting trim and fusible web to attach the trim.
